Our New Client Process
1
Submit a request for your pet’s first visit.
Use our booking link to peruse our calendar to find the best time and date for your schedule. Ready to do that now? Find the appointment that best fits for you.
2
Confirm your pet’s vaccines.
Once we receive your appointment request, our team will reach out to your vet for your pet’s vaccine records. Then we’ll send you a text with next steps!
3
Sign the Service Agreement.
A quick service agreement, sent via text or email, ensures everyone is on the same page and your pup gets the best care.
4
Save a card on file.
Saving a card on file holds your appointment and helps keep our cancellation policy fair for everyone.
5
Hurray! It’s time for your first visit!
At drop-off, we’ll meet your pup, confirm their grooming details, and move at a pace that keeps them comfortable.
6
Set up a schedule.
Keep your pup comfortable and their coat in top shape — save with our recurring appointment discount. We can help you set it up at your first appointment!
"Marci, the owner of Blossom Pet Salon, obviously loves the dogs and loves her job. Takes the time to not only groom but teach you what you should be doing in between grooming. We have taken Whiskey to another groomer but continue to choose to drive an hour to go back to Blossom. Can't recommend enough."
Policies & FAQs
-
Book your pup on a recurring schedule every 8 weeks or less for 10–20% off Haircuts, Deshed Baths, Deshed & Outline Trims, and Hand-Stripping. The easiest way to lock in your spot is to book out 6 months at a time — we’ll stay flexible if you need to make adjustments! Set this up at your first appointment!
-
The best time to start your puppy’s grooming journey is shortly after their second round of vaccines, usually around 10–12 weeks. Grooming is a lifelong routine, and keeping your pup on a regular schedule helps make every visit a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your pup!
-
Dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines and be on a flea and tick preventative to keep all pets safe and healthy. Puppies just have to be up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Please wait 48 hours after your dog receives a vaccine to schedule a grooming appointment.
-
Most pets will be at the salon for 1-4 hours, depending on size and service type. We work with live animals, so sometimes there are things out of our control. We’ll give a time estimate at drop-off, but sometimes pets need breaks or extra attention for certain coat conditions. For short services like nail trims, face trims, or grinch feet trims, please stay — most take less than 15 minutes.
-
We understand life happens! To help us keep things running smoothly for all our furry clients, cancellations within 36 hours of your appointment, or no-shows, incur a fee of 75% of the scheduled services. Once the fee is paid, we’d love to get you rescheduled!
-
We know life happens! If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, a $25 fee will be added to your total. We’ll do our best to still see your pup, but we may not be able to finish at the original time. If that won’t work or it’s been more than 30 minutes — it will be treated as a no-show, and the 75% fee will apply. Once fees are taken care of, we’d be happy to get you back on the schedule!
