"Marci, the owner of Blossom Pet Salon, obviously loves the dogs and loves her job. Takes the time to not only groom but teach you what you should be doing in between grooming. We have taken Whiskey to another groomer but continue to choose to drive an hour to go back to Blossom. Can't recommend enough."

Policies & FAQs

How long will my pet be at the salon?

Typically, your pet will be at the salon for 1-5 hours, depending on size and service type. We work with live animals, so sometimes there are things out of our control. While we give you our best time estimate at drop off, sometimes pets need a break from the grooming process or we discover some coat conditions that take longer to work on. If your pet is coming for a nail trim, we ask that you wait for your pup. Most nail trims don’t take more than 15 minutes.

What vaccinations are required?

All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Please wait 48 hours after your dog receives a vaccine to schedule a grooming appointment. All dogs are required to be on a flea & tick preventative.

When should my puppy be groomed for the first time?

You should bring your puppy in to get groomed as soon as possible after their first or second set of shots, usually around 12-16 weeks old. The sooner they are exposed to the environment and elements of grooming, the more comfortable they will be with it. It will make their grooming experience much more enjoyable!
